Top Football Tipster In-depth review

As a member of Top Football Tipster, you can expect to receive between 60-70 selections every month. Tips are emailed and pinged to members’ Android and iOS devices via the Betting Gods free app.

Tips are usually sent around 7:30am on the morning of the games. The type of bets include Lay, Draw-No Bet, Both Teams To Score, +2.5 goals and Asian Handicap.

Weekends tend to be the busiest with up to 6 tips. Staking ranges from 1pt to over 25pts (lay bets). Both Teams To Score tends to be the most popular tip, followed by over 2.5 goals.

Lay bets are also a favourite of Top Football Tipster and for those new to betting, placing these can be a little confusing. After placing a few lay bets it becomes easier to understand.

Laying bets could take some member’s out of their comfort zone in terms of staking. Even those who are used to staking 10pts (and may not be comfortable doing that) might not want to risk over 20pts to win 3pts.

Top Football Tipster uses a structured staking plan which members’ need to stick to and we also recommend you set up a separate betting bank. You need to stick to the staking plan because it is part of the service that you are paying for.

Cost of the service?

An annual subscription costs just £399.00 or £39 every month. You can also try the service for 7 days for only £1.00. Payments accepted via PayPal or credit card. All offers correct at time of posting.

Time Intensity

5 minutes – 20 minutes. Some lay bets (all explained) and on busier days can be up to 5-6 selections.

Frequency of tips?

One email a day, with the occasional update email. Tips are usually emailed early in the morning and are sent every day including weekends.

Odds availability

The odds quoted are normally very robust and achievable, even till KO. Obviously, team news can move the odds either way, so, we recommend that you place your bets at least one hour before KO.

Typical odds

Typical odds of the selections vary from 1.5 to 5.0.

Recommended stakes are between 1pt to 10pts but with lay bets, you could be risking a lot more. Would you be comfortable risking, say, 27pts for 3pt return? The average odds of Top Football Tipster is 3.33.

We explain why you need to stick to a staking plan.

Betting Bank

Betting Gods recommended that you have at least a 200pt betting bank and given the lay bets we reckon that figure is correct.

Using £10 stakes you would need a betting bank of £2,000 and £4,000 for £20 stakes. Using £2.50 stakes your bank would need to be £500.

As with any tipster, there will be losing streaks and a healthy bank is needed to weather these runs.

Please only use funds you can afford to lose and gamble responsibly.

We explain why using a Betting Bank is a safer way to bet!

Account closure ratings

Low…Little movement on prices means you are not beating the SP by much but that doesn’t mean that you should bet every tip via the one bookie.

Any time you place or win large amounts of money or consistently beat the Starting Price, you run the risk of being limited by any bookmaker.

Several simple tips to help keep your accounts longer include spreading out your bets across multiple bookmakers, placing a few accumulators and don’t place your bets through odds comparison sites.

Read our guide on how to keep your bookie accounts open for longer.
